Set in the heart of Devon's stunning South Hams, Avon Mill offers a perfect venue for small, bespoke, country style wedding receptions and gatherings, for up to 60 guests.
From 2012, you can get married here too. If you'd rather have a church wedding, then Woodleigh Church is very close by, in a picture postcard village, and makes for a beautiful drive down the valley to your reception at Avon Mill.

Our venue is available from 5.30pm onwards, giving you exclusive use of Avon Mill's 'First Floor' function room, together with the cafe and terrace, and first floor, galleried garden area. The bridal party can even use our top floor apartment during the day as their exclusive dressing room. This is the former mill suite of buildings, set beside the River Avon.
Our Cafe is licensed to serve alcohol and for music and offers a relaxed setting for your wedding breakfast or buffet. In summer time, the wedding party can spill out, al fresco, onto the ground floor terrace and first floor garden.
A tree lined riverside setting, with a traditional stone bridge, offers a serene and beautiful backdrop for your wedding photography.

Your wedding breakfast will be prepared by our experienced team of cooks, using the freshest of local, seasonal ingredients, simply and beautifully presented. We will discuss your preferences and then design a bespoke menu for you.
We can also put you in touch with stunning photographers, gorgeous florists and fabulous cake makers, even a toast master, if you wish!
