Evening suppers
Our popular evening suppers in the Cafe have built up a loyal following amongst those in the know. Candle lit, delicious food and exclusive ambience. So if you are looking for somewhere different to try for supper, come along to Avon Mill and check us out for yourself. Suppers are usually twice monthly , on a Friday, see dates below.
Two delicious courses for £20.00; 3 courses £24.00, plus coffee and mints. The cafe is licensed, serving champagne, Pimms, wines, beers and cider.

Mothering Sunday - March 14th
Mothering Sunday is an occasion to give your mother an extra special treat and to let her know that you are thinking of her. Avon Mill has lots of treats to tempt you.
Our Deli has gorgeous chocolates, cakes, pink fizz and if she is a bit of a gourmand, lots of other delicious treats that she will appreciate. Or may be opt for one of Emma Vowles' stylish hand tied bouquets, also available at the Deli.
For something more lasting, how about a potted hydrangea, available from our houseplant section, it can be planted out in the garden later on.
If pampering is more your mother's style, the Garden Centre's shop has a choice of indulgent lotions and potions. Try Bronnley's beautifully packaged RHS range - may be Passionflower or the more tradtional Rose, including gift boxed soaps, hand conditioners, body scrubs and bath relaxants.
And if your mother is here for the day, then why not bring her out to lunch in our Cafe, or may be for a relaxing morning coffee or a decadent afternoon tea? Our Mothering Sunday Afternoon Tea, at £6.50 per person, offers freshly made sandwiches, mini strawberry and fresh cream pavlovas, and a choice of tea or coffee...mmm

New....Cold cast bronze sculptures made in Devon
Joanna Martins is a Devon born local sculptor whose work is now on sale in our Cafe. She uses a high quality bronze medium of finely ground bronze metal powder bound with a resin matrix. Each piece is cast singly from the mould and finished by hand.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor us. For a piece of handcrafted artwork they make an inexpensive gift or treat and even better, they are made in Devon! The sculptures available in our Cafe range from £25.00 - £180.00.

Dogs on show
Sunday 8 August 2010 - preliminary details
Following the success of last autumn's family dog show at Avon Mill Garden Centre, we are hosting a Companion Dog Show in aid of Animals in Distress, Ipplepen, here on the afternoon of Sunday 8th August 2010. Judging by Liz Roe (Pirospont).
For those not in the know, a Companion Dog Show is registered by the Kennel Club and held under its rules and regulations, but anyone can enter their dog. Entry is on the day and show schedules will be available from this site in July 2010.
So make a diary note and come along and have a look around our beautiful garden centre and then have lunch in our cafe, to settle your stomach before the show! Or stop for a Devon cream tea before you head off home.
